Joe Louis weighed that for the Mauriello fight.

I am going to guess that 212lbs goes further on a man of 6' 1''.

    I’ll name my top 15

    Joe Louis
    Muhammad Ali
    Jack Johnson
    Rocky Marciano
    Jack Dempsey
    Evander Holyfield
    Joe Frazier
    Mike Tyson
    Larry Holmes
    George Foreman
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Sonny Liston
    Lennox Lewis
    Primo Carnera
    Floyd Patterson

I don’t even have Vitali in my top 20. When he completely ducked a rematch with Byrd for a fight with Hoffman that said everything about him. His best wins are Corrie Sanders and Chris Arreola, which is hardly deserving of being called a great fighter. The only reason Vitali had the WBC title for as long as he did was because Wlad was his brother. If Vitali wasn’t Wlad’s brother Wlad would’ve destroyed him and took that that title off him.

Wlad fought and beat all of the better competition such as a prime Chris Byrd, a prime Samuel Peter, a Prime David Haye, a prime Povetkin.

He is 6 foot 7 with an 83" reach. That is gargantuan.

Give me a lever long enough and I will move the world.

The first quote says a ton of HW’s who never became champion...your 2nd post lists champions.

I am interested in what non champions you feel beat him...I am not a Vitali guy but still think he is a clear top 20 guy. I am also not a Vitali advocate but would like to know what ton of non Champions you see beating him

These vary from laughable to highly questionable.

You are entitled to your opinion. Each of these guys made it to the complete top of the heavyweight division and didn’t duck the hard fights. Also, I judge guys off their entire careers and not just their title runs.

    Just to name a few.

    Larry Gains
    Young Stribling
    George Godfrey
    Johnny Risko
    Tony Galento
    Eddie Blunt
    Buddy Baer
    Tommy Farr
    Jack Peterson
    Archie Moore
    Marvis Frazier

All of the guys above have better wins on their resumes than Vitali despite never becoming champions at heavyweight. This is also the case with Parker, who seems like a nice kid and I’m glad he got a payday with Joshua, but he didn’t beat one top fighter despite being a world champion.

Floyd Patterson didn't make it 3 minutes the first time he didn't duck a hard fight. Give me a break.

I don't overly rate Vitali but oh how i'd love to hear how some of these could "crush" Vitali. Cool story.

Marvis Frazier has 8 stoppages in 21 fights and never crushed anybody!

If Wilder wins we will cite it as evidence that smaller heavyweights can be successful against the current behemoths.

If Fury wins we will cite it as demonstrating the superiority of the old school training methods and boxing stance.

We have got it covered unless it is a draw!
