IMO he has the ability to do so.. all he needs is to sweep the lower weight classes then sweep 122 and go to 126. easy right?

he surpass pac in terms of skills

He has great skills and athletic talent, no doubt. But that is a long road to travel and a lot of weight divisions.

Too early to tell in my view. He certainly looks like a legit multi-division champion in the making though.

Donaire is a superstar in the making..he moves more like SRR than anyone I've seen in recent memory, and he punches like him too. Those poor guys that he fights wake up wondering "WTF?"..and dream in vain about what they'd do differently in a rematch.

What would he need to achieve? How about beating both Klit brothers? Donaire will NEVER reach that plateau. It's a very rare plateau, one he isn't even remotely close of reaching atm.

I wouldn't argue anybody who says Donaire is the best fighter in the world today. I think he's that good. He's been destroying B class fighters in a way that all-time greats would. But I don't think he has the opposition needed to surpass Manny and Floyd. Time will tell. He also might have some slip-ups and could prove to be a lesser fighter than I and many others think.

"B Class"? Montiel was in the top 10 P4P... :dead

Well nowadays marquee value holds a lot of ground for legacies, so lets say that someone like Khan beats both Pac and Floyd (God forbid), and Gamboa somehow moved up and cleaned out the 140 weight class and Donaire doubly moved up and stomped the both of them, and Rigondeaux got a stellar resume together and also gets stomped I'd probly give Donaire the nod.

Montiel as a bantamweight isn't one of the A class fighters like Mayweather, Pacquiao, Donaire, etc. I consider him a class below, probably a solid B+.

I doubt it. He has hand issues that limit him. He's been fighting 2 fights a year, lots of long layoffs after the Darchinyan fight. That tells you something that he wont be able to carry his power up in the higher weight classes. Unless he becomes this defensive wizard or a Bernard Hopkins, his career will never be great that Pac or Floyd
