I thought Lewis barely won the rematch and if the fight would have been given to Holyfield it would have been far from the worst robbery I've ever seen. I don't see how the Vitali version of Lewis could beat the Bowe version of Holyfield. He would get battered. So the answer to the question is yes.

In quality? I consider Holyfield more skilled of the two. It's difference in size and power, that makes me rank Lewis higher H2H

Yes, my answer is the same as the any verson of Wlad vs Holyfield. Flat top holyfield has a chance against every heavyweight imo. He's a dog against some. I think there are some surprises like he would really struggle against Jersey Joe Wolcott but that's the beauty of Holyfield. He was basically the perpetual live dog, because even when he was favored heavily it could end up being a total war. Guy had very few total walkovers against good or great fighters, but also was never totally obliterated until late late in his career.

    Better is this statement.

No version of Holyfield would beat Lewis under Stewart. Prime Lewis would beat any version of Holyroid.

If both are at their best, I'd pick Lewis

Lewis was not that great early in his career. Or, let us say, he blew more hot and cold than later on. A crappy version of Lewis vs a good version of Holyfield gets malleted.

Holy's best shot would be a younger, Pre-Steward, Lewis. Not out of the realm of possibility he'd catch him. And Holy threw hard hitting combinations. For me, that's the only shot.

Lewis had a lot more power than Holy and was more powerful than 95% of the fighters Holy fought.

I think the best way to answer this is based on how Holyfield did against Bowe. All 3 fights were very competitive, and I think Bowe was every bit as talented as Lewis and was similar in size. But most of the time yes, Holyfield of any version loses to Lewis of any version.

Holy was a great fighter, Lewis was hugely flawed until Steward trained him, he was being outboxed by Bruno when they fought and Holy was far better than Bruno, Holy would have toyed with McCall too, Lewis improved dramatically with Steward.

doesn't matter even a little bit if ll is so far up his own ass (which he is utterly susceptible to) that he doesn't see the punch coming

Holy didn`t have McCall or Rahman`s one punch power, Lewis took some right hands off Bruno who was more powerful than Holy.
