Could Evander Out Rocky Rocky?

    Just watched the second Lewis -Holyfield fight,Evander took some big right uppercuts and from rds 7 to 11 looked the fresher fighter ,and he was 37 ,fighting a man 3 inches taller and 25 lbs heavier ,what a competitor.Could Holyfield outfight Rocky Marciano ? He is perhaps the only man who trained as diligently as Rocky , was 3 1/2 inches taller and around 22 lbs heavier could he take a licking and keep on ticking, to come on and beat the Rock? Holyfield proved he could be competitive with the Super Heavyweights,could he absorb Marciano's relentless pressure and withstand his vaunted Suzie Q?

    No. Marciano would break him down and stop him around 8-10.

    Yeah ok..Holyfield would knock his ass out.it may take a minute but Marciano would get ko for the first time

    i think holyfield would beat him. he was incredebly savy on the inside and his head would have rocky bleeding like a pig.

    Yeah... Watch the Bowe fights to see what a ******* Holyfield could be.

    He hit Bowe with maybe one of the most perfect thumbs I've ever seen.

    They both had a ton of heart and great chins, along with stamina (although Rocky's is better). Rocky hits harder and this would not be a boxing match but a straight brawl, I'd pick him to win this by stoppage or decision.

    Evander was a warrior but this would work against him vs Rocky, I remember the body shots Toney slowed him down and stopped him with...Rocky would go to the body well and the head shots would be brutal....Still it would be a real war while it lasted

    This is a tough call both great stamina Rocky was more powerful but Evander was a very smart fighter who could take a great punch, close points decision either way I can't see Rocky knocking Holyfield out and there is no way Rocky gets knocked out, two great warriors.

    If he tries to outrocky rocky, he will lose by brutal Technical knockout. His best bet is to perform a game plan similiar to the bowe II fight.

    I don't know if he could outfight Rocky, but he could beat him. I don't know if he would, though.

    Holyfield hands down..Marciano never fought anybody of holyfields style..Holy wud take his punches getting his share of punishment.Vander roughs him up for a late ko.wudnt be a good matchup for the Rock

    and the one fighter holyfield fought even close to marcianos style was a 5'7 much less powerful ex lightheavyweight who put holyfield in the hospital near death.

    When Does The Fight Take Place,in The 50,s Rocky Stops Evander Late When The Real Deal Tries To Trade But Now Days Holyfield Might Win On Cuts If He Is Smart Enough To Box The Rock .you Dont Go Toe To Toe With Somone Named Rocky Who Could Hit As Hard As He Could .dempsey Was A Better 2 Handed Hitter But Even Dempsey Said It Was Incredible How The Rock Could Stop A Man With(1)punch
