Definitely. Charles at his best is a bad style matchup for Tyson.

I’d pick a prime Charles to beat Tyson, since every experienced and well rounded fighter that wasn’t shot, past prime, or out of shape either went the distance with Tyson or beat him and Charles was as well rounded and experienced as fighters get.

Charles too small. Mike Tyson is the all time great slayer of light heavyweights moving north.

No. I know you want to hear something different, but Tyson early, very early, is the only possible outcome in this.
Charles had his hands full with a smaller Rocky and couldn't beat him.

I thought Charles stunk as a heavyweight.

I only give Ezzard a chance if he clinches like Bonecrusher till round 4,then I'll give him a 10% chance to maul Mike.

Ezzard Charles was a genuine PFP all-time great. Some historians/experts have Ezzard challenging
Sugar Ray Robinson for the title of GOAT.He was splendid.
However Tyson was probably the most overpowering 1st round heavyweight-champion in history.
If it's of any comfort Fergy,Ezzard just might make it through to the 2nd round.

Charles is a much better pfp fighter than Smith and I may even gives Charles a chance to beat him via points or cuts, but he doesn't have Smiths size and strength. He may not be able to tie up Tyson like Smith could repeatedly do. Now if Charles could bulk up like Holyfield, perhaps. But I'd pick Tyson to stop a 190 pound Holyfield as well.

As skilled a fighter as Charles was--he would be giving up a lot of size and power--maybe too much size and power! I think peak Tyson would simply overwhelm him in the early rounds.
