Could Floyd get a decision over Pac?

manny is cut from another cloth. his desire is too much. he is the one fighter that will be able to get to Floyd in so many different ways. The fact that he has that will and as solid of a chin at Welterweight plus being one of the best and most powerful crisp punchers is a huge factor. He is more active, much more battled tested and dominant as a welter. Floyd is the pure boxer but he will only look pretty when not facing the greatest. Mayweather is actually a genius. Why risk it. Let the other fools get whooped.
if he loses to Manny that is all people will remember him for.

I take nothing away from Floyd. His skills are tremendous. it is just a rare instance where there are two special ATG fighters at the same time in the same weight class. One of those fighters just has every intangible under the sun to win stylistically.
I would root for Floyd but it sure would be one rough uphill battle for him at 34 + Why fight your toughest test vs the best of your era not in your prime + not even in your best weight class ?

 

the thing about pac is that he has to respect his opponent's punching power or he will just bury him under a ton of punches.

mayweather may end up having a better connect percentage but pac will certainly throw much more and connect more especially when it comes to power punching.

mayweather may even throw less in this fight compared to his other fights since he will concentrate on his D and be wary of pac's punching power.

mayweather may not generate enough of an offense to win a decision vs pac. it's really up to the judges if they will give more weight to his defense rather than his lack of offense.
