Could Floyd Mayweather's huge neck be the reason for his granite chin?

He took Nigel Benn's neck routine via Al Haymon.

I swear, some of you ***s have never been in a gym. I used to have ***s accuse me of being on steroids just because I was in good shape.
It's just the reasoning lazy or out of shape people use for why somebody else was able to get fit and they couldn't

Took Mike McCallum 16 years when he fought Roy Jones in '96 at 40yo and fat.

Mind you McCallum had fought Curry, Toney and Jones in their primes all of whom were lb4lb kings with talent exceeding Mayweather himself. I also believe Kalambay was better than Mayweather, and that Graham was just as elusive. McCallum fought Kalambay twice, Toney twice, and Michael Watson was the equivalent of Mayweather facing Winky Wright (Watson dwarfed McCallum). Let's not forget Kalule (who gave Ray Leonard fits), Julian Jackson, Milton McCrory... **** me McCallum fought better than Floyd, and 3x more frequently. Steve Collins > Ricky Hatton.

Mayweather was stumbling around the ring from a Ricky Hatton jab.
