Could Floyd Mayweather's huge neck be the reason for his granite chin?

Every bodies neck looks thick from that angle, and Floyd still doesn't look like he has a thick neck there. Floyd doesn't get hit much but i'd say he has a pretty good chin.

Is Floyd's huge c*ck the reason for why Ellerbe sleeps with him at night???

I'm not sure Mayweather could be knocked down, even the hardest hitters from 160 wouldn't be able to knock this man down even with a clean shot to the button.

Even Kovalev's best punch wouldn't be enough to put this man down.

Iron jaws in the Hagler/Lamotta mold don't allow a fighter to go soft in the knees from a mosley right hand or a corley hook. He has a respectable jaw at world level. Marg took mosleys big right hands over and over again for 9 rounds before he buckled. Id like to see mayweather make it past the 1st round taking that many shots.

    You are nonsense! MVC

The straight left hand that Martinez landed on Pual Williams' chin in round 2 can KD Floyd definitely or even KO him.

Mosley at 147 almost sent him to the canvas in round 2. Remember that?

Are you saying that because Khan has that skinny pencil neck he is prone to knock outs?

Khan's neck looks like a tooth pick stuck in a potato.

From my recollection Mosley and Corley had him on ***** Street and zab already put him down so to sit hear and say the most ferocious puncher in boxing couldn't is a little far fetched don't you think ?

Psssh... Not to mention Sergey fights 4 weights classes higher and probably hits similar to a heavyweight in terms of punching power

How old are some people on here? I can't believe the amount of hero worship that goes on. Floyd has a good chin but how on earth can anyone say he has a granite chin when he has hardly been hit in his career? He has supreme evading skills which helps him minimise the opponents power. Even when in trouble he will use these skills to move out the way.

You can't test a chin if it's not there.

Wayne McCullough has one of the greatest chins ever, he has never been down. He took bombs from prime Hamed and Morales, two of the hardest punchers ever at that weight, and was never even hurt. He has an incredibly skinny neck, skinnier than Khan's even. Another guy who had a skinny neck for his weight class? Margarito, I don't think I need to inform you of his chin ;). Skinny neck theory doesn't hold up.

What he said was very foolish, I agree with you. Lets be clear though, Judah did not knock Mayweather down, neither officially, or unofficially. Officially it was ruled not to be a knock down. Unofficially, just using common sense, it is clear it wasn't a knock down. Early on their feet were tangling like crazy, they were even warned for stepping on each other's feet. Mayweather got tangled up, and a punch barely glanced his head while he was in the midst of tripping and falling off balance already. He wasn't truly hit with any shot, you know that. Are you trying to play some technicality here, saying oh his glove touched, and maybe a punch scraped by his face, so it's a knockdown on some technicality? If so, that's pretty asinine dude, you and I both know he wasn't legitimately put on his ass. Floyd has yet to ever truly be knocked down, he has 1 official KD on his record, when he put his hand on the canvas after shattering his hand against Genaro I believe it was (been years since I last watched it.)
