Could Floyd really lose to someone who drew with Peterson and lost to Maidana?

I think this fight is about the best that could've been made, but I'm not really sold on how competitive it's going to be. What you think?

anyone can lose to anyone in boxing, ortiz showed way more heart and mental strength in the berto fight than in those 2 fights, lets see how he acts when floyd is frustrating him.

floyd picked him so this means he thinks that ortiz has no chance to beat him.

Floyd is greater than Ali. In fact he is greater than Robinson according to him.

Well, heh, not quite that unless Floyd has a terrible disease affecting his health and athletic performance.

I've actually changed my opinion on this fight, its pretty good. The 3rd best fight that could be made IMO. Although Bradley is a better fighter than Ortiz, stylistically Ortiz is better against Floyd.

However, its true. If this was Ortiz fighting Pac you would have every single ***** calling him Maidana's leftovers... Lets not forget he got dropped twice in his last and only fight at WW too.

yeah he based that perception on the Peterson fight I guess. Let's hope that he made the wrong decision ...

remember that floyd's real intention was to fight berto having his mind set that berto would easily beat the former 140 pounder. but when ortiz pulled it off, floyd might have done some research and saw the peterson fight and probably told himself, this would be an easy money, call schaeffer immediately and i'm off my vacation. :yep

I wonder if Ortiz will be able to get through with his left-right hook uppercut combinations. I really hope that Ortiz could make it a fight.

while rewatching the berto fight, i noticed that ortiz was still wild and some of his punches are wide. this would be effective against someone like berto who is not that good defensively but berto's straight punches actually troubles ortiz in some seeegments of the fight. floyd would just easily pick ortiz and this would be a mismatch in class and experience.

the annoying part is how open ortiz is for the right hand, thats how berto dropped him, maidana broke him down, and peterson got back into the fight to a draw, mayweather has a great straight right and it will definitely be landing.

Real mismatch. Easy fight, easy win, easy money for Floyd. No real threat from Ortiz. Floyd will keep his precious "0" lost!:yep
