Could Fury learn anything from former WBA heavyweight champion, Nikolai Valuev?

Different fighters. Valuev is a slow plodding technically/fundamentally okay fight but there is not much special about him.

Fury is a big guy but he has a bit more speed, a bit more pizzaz about his work. He'll work the uppercuts on the inside, fight with his hands low, hands up, he'll move his head, roll with punches, block with his arms etc There is already more to his work than Valuev.

    Fair enough points.

Admittedly it is a very lazy comparison based on them simply being giant men and perhaps lacking in genuine KO power at HW world level. They are different fighters in many ways, agreed.

As ponderous as he might be, I do think Valuev is possibly harder to hit/to get to however. Still, it's very early days for Fury and he's got a lot of fights and time to improve. Age and growing experience are both very much on his side.
