In the likely event that Soliman tests positive, that fight will not go ahead (thank god). Geales likely opponent would be either Macklin or GGG as I believe there would have to be another eliminator for the chance to fight Geale, which would give him the time to explore either option.

Geale probably wouldn't be a good indicator of how solid Golovkins chin is as he is a high volume puncher with OK power.

 

No he's an ethnic Russian. There are many, many ethnic Europeans in central Asia - Ukrainians, Germans, Poles, Russians & Tartars specifically; infact, Kazakhstan is something like 25%/30% ethnic Russian, with a sizable Tartar population. GGG is European, he just lives in central Asia along with loads of other Russians.

Most of the boxers coming out of these former Soviet Republics are Russians or Tartars.
