Well they did say GGG was taking time off due to his father passing away. might have something to do with the fight not being finalised.
It seems Golovkin is going to fight on July 19 with or without Chavez. If there's not Chavez he'll be on regular HBO and probably fight in NYC. If he does fight Chavez(who might be talking to Haymon which would ruin a Golovkin fight) that will be on ppv and in L.A.
Fat Dan is reporting via twitter that Jr is in talks with Al Haymon. If Big Al snags Jr. the GGG fight is dead.
Canelo has a PPV vs Lara on July 12th-GGG vs Chavez can't possibly be on the same date or will Top Rank go head to head with GBP?:huh
This fight won't CHANGE Chavez Jr's career. There are only a half dozen fighters between 168-175 who can beat him, so even if he takes a few knees from body punches, he still can move to LHW and blast Brahmer out......go to Nottigham an d send Carl home to Rachel. He's got lots of options that an L to GGG aint going to ruin. And in Jr's defense, and as a fan of both, Jr might just be the better body puncher here. And size could be a huge factor in this fight.:think
No one give a **** about amateur record fool, this is pro boxing. You sound like you're new to the sport, I will encourage you to refrain yourself from talking out off your ass until you become educated on the sports. Its ironic how you talk up GGG at the expense of a hall of famer. Who the ****ed punched GGG for you to know that his chins is better than Tyson's. GGG is 32 with a resume of a prospect, Tyson was 20 when he won a heavyweight title becoming the youngest person to do so. By the time he was 23, Tyson had already cleaned out the heavyweight division becoming undisputed heavyweight champion. Till date GGG's best win is Mathew ****ing Macklin. Again educate yourself about the sports or don't come back here to comment again on a subject you know nothing about ass wipe.
It seriously looks like this fight will not happen. Hayman is signing up fighters and keeping them away from all the Eastern European boogey men. Seems like their is some conspiracy to keep big fights and big paydays away from these fighters. Quite vile and repulsive that in this day and age of progressive thinking and opportunity for all that an arbitrary clade of peoples could get targeted with such malice.
Jr is a natural LHW, he should move there once he gets some money fights at 168, he won't spend so much time and enegry killing himself to make weight I disagree, Chavez's punch resistance might be his downfall in his fight, GG is light years better in skills than Jr, and if Jr takes enough of those heavy shots, it could have serious long term effects on his health, if Brian Vera was tagging Jr at will, GG will have no problems finding the mark, Chavez' only hope is to trap GG on the ropes, because as you've said, he seems to be a better body puncher than GG can't wait for July, this one is going to be a war deal
