Could GGG stop a small heavyweight like Byrd?

This nonsense needs to stop. I'm tired of these silly threads. Byrd wouldn't last 2 minutes with Golovkin. Prime Holyfield might, just might, be able to go the distance with Golovkin.

No. When has he sparred heavies, who are these heavies that he sparred and ko'd, and how do you know GG has an iron chin?:nut

 

GG would have to have Ibeabuchi or Wlad power to ko Byrd because Byrd's chin has been through hell and back at heavy.

 

If he hits him flush he could absolutely KO him. He has that kind of power. No other middle weights do. The question is can he absorb enough punishment until he can connect flush.

I do think the praise goes overboard, though. To suggest that he could go in there and even compete with the likes of Chris Byrd is just plain disrespectful. He KO's Macklin in 3 rounds with a body shot, and now he's able to all of a sudden move up the ranks to and KO Ward, and all the best at 168????

After watching Byrd's last fight I would say I would not be suprised if Golovkin were to beat Byrd by KO or TKO...........
