Could Glass Jaw David Haye Taken The Punches Chambers Did?

    Chambers took some bombs. That one in the second round that made him do the chicken dance would have knocked Haye out cold for a month. There were more punches thrown in 2 rounds of this fight than there were in the whole Haye/Valuev fight. Chambers was at a big size and skill disadvantage but he did not run and throw 11.9 punches a round he at least tried to win. Chambers deserves respect.

    Not a chance. First solid punch that lands Hayefaker is out.

    Vlad don't hit like a ****ing SMW. Haye thinks Monte Barretts jab is a powerful punch like a right hand. Haye is overrated shite, that won a close decision over the worst HW titleholder ever.

    It took until the 5th when Chambers became a complete shell after getting dominated from Dr. Steel Hammer for too long. ;)

    I don't think that David Gaye would have survived that shot either. But, I can see Gaye being a turtle shell after round 1!

    Don't you always get pissed off when fans of Glass Jawed fighters try to justify their fighters getting KOd by saying "that punch would of knocked out XXX or anyone" .. now you are doing the very same thing. :patsch

    Haye moves his head. He is a completely different fighter than Chambers who fights like an amateur with no desire.

    Haye not only moves his head, but he delivers sharp, well timed counters that will knock Wlad's head into the third row.

    So the answer is, Haye won't be hit with those punches. Wlad will be koed before he has a chance to land them.

    No. You need to learn to read. I said that punch would have knocked Glass Jaw David Haye out cold for a month. Huge difference there. Chambers has a Chin. Haye does not.

    BTW, I agree if he took that right he would most likely be out cold, but Haye isn't dumb enough to stand on the ropes like Eddie did for long periods.

    I say definitely yes. I'm a fan of Haye and I'll enjoy his title reign while it lasts, but if he steps up to fight the top 2 guys in the division it'll be lights out

    Waldo wouldn't be able to connect on Haye like he did on 'slow Eddie' so the topics a dud. Haye on the other hand has the speed to connect and KO power in both fists. Either Klit would get a bashing like never before! ;-)

    The question wasn't "can Wlad hit Haye?" it was "could Haye have taken that punch?".

    The answer is "no". Haye's been dropped by a SMW. He would explode into a million tiny pieces if Wlad connected with a shot like that.

    And Peter also lost to Chambers who Wlad just shutout and brutally KOed. Oh, and out of the 20 rounds Peter went with the Klitschko's he won only 3 rounds total. That is embarrassing.
