Yes . . . they are both very capable of knocking each other out. The first to be hit with the solid punch . . . goes down. :yep

You'd have to favour Pac but i have a slight feeling Hamed would be stylistically a very bad fight for Pac. With Hamed's taunting and showboating i see Pac getting frustrated and that means he'll start to lunge in with his punches, this could lead to Pac getting Hamed out of there, or he could walk straight onto a Hamed power punch.

no doubt hamed KO's him with a flush shot, he'd probably KO barrera, morales and jmm with flush punches as well.

but style's wise with his hands to his waist, hamed could get caught with pacs straighter, faster punches. he's probably never faced anyone who can close the distance as quick as pacquiao. just because jmm (a master counter puncher) was catching pac, does'nt mean hamed would be as effective.

this post pretty much sums up a large amount of the ESB forums knowledge of naseem hamed. they've seen the MAB fight, therefore that makes them an expert.

Of course Hamed could if he landed.....he had that concussive KO power.....the question is "WOULD HE".....I don't think so. Only b/c PAC is clearly the better fighter. Hamed has more one puch KO power but the speed, reflexes and skill favor PAC.

Stylisitcally, Pac is a much better fight for The Price than Barerra or even Marquez

    I would take Hamed TKO

Yeah - Hamed had bombs in his gloves - Pacman does too - but not quite as much as Hamed imo.

Hamed could knock out almost anyone, but I think Pac would get to him first.

Because Naz was often off balance due to his style, if Pac clipped him hard enough, it would be like the JMM first round from 2004, but throughout the fight this time.

Perhaps TKO rather than KO, or a ridiculous UD!

Its very hard to hit Hamed flush ... the only way I think to beat Hamed would be to outbox him... if you brawl with him you're only asking to get knocked out.

Oh ... Hamed can box as well ... if he chooses can outbox Pacquiao ... a fellow southpaw ... I think fighting against another southpaw would give Manny trouble ... Hamed has fought southpaws before ....

The switching angle, stances, and the constant movement of Hamed gives Pacquiao trouble especially a Pacquiao that isn't all that discipline.

Hamed would have his hands full trying to fight Manny....only Orthodox technical/slick boxers give Manny problems. All Many would have to look out for is Hameds power hand. the pressure that caused Hamed to fold when he faced MAB would be the same problem that he'd have facing PAC but PACs pressure would really do damage.

pacman is used to fighting orthodox fighters ... his trainer is an orthdox fighter ... he doesn't train for southpaws ... I think hamed's southpaw style confuses him ...

MAB was very discipline in that fight and he respected Hamed's power more than any opponent he's faced.

Pac would have to find a target to give Hamed trouble and Hamed's stance would confuse Pac ... Pac's poor balance will hurt him as well, especially if he gets hit flush with a hamed shot ... Hamed is stronger than any fighter than Pacman has faced.

Did I mention Pacman can't box ... he has poor balance ... he fights like Frankenstein.

Hameds balance wasn't great either if you can remember...He had a very wide stance and was all over the place when trying to avoid offense...he'd pull straight back and had a very unusal/unorthodox fightng style...A pressure fighter like PAC would smother him and not allow Hamed to get the distance he needs to get that Power showcased. Hamed has a lot of power but he's not a "STRONG" fighter. He was being bullied agasint MAB and PAC was the one bullying MAB both times they faught.

The stance may confuse PAC a bit but with Hamed being more on the slow side PAC's Speed would be enough to catch Hamed and make the fight end early. I think it would be exciting for a few rounds until Hamed folded.

Hamed's off balance stance was apart of his unorthodox style ... he doesn't throw combo's off 1 foot ... he doesn't punch square ...

Hamed's upper body was the only thing that was everywhere ... his feet were always planted ...
