Agreed. I said he needs to cash out just like David Hype. That's what they are doing and both will likely be KO'd in their next fight.

    tough fight to call really.

bradley is a problem for anyone at 140. he's fresher, faster & i could see him outpointing ricky from the outside.

    50/50 fight IMO

You're making the assumption that the average British sports fan watches Junior Witter fights. This is not the case.

From memory this fight was on terrestrial TV but I dont recall it getting massive viewing figures. And also, those that did watch it only watched Witter losing - not Bradley winning.

Ask Joe Bloggs in the UK who Tim Bradley is and they'll shrug. That having been said, make a fight between him and Hatton and everyone will know who he is. That's the size of Hatton in this country. 'The Hispanic Causing Panic' was on everyone's radar for a month or two!

I'm gonna go on youtube and watch some more Bradley fights before coming back to you on the style points. However, nothing I seen in the Witter/Cherry fights suggest he can beat Hatton for me.

hatton is undisputed champ, until someone beats hatton to win them that remains, koysta never lost any of the belts in the ring until hatton beat him, and no ones beat hatton at 140.

but a fight with bradley, would be good in a couple of fights time. hatton wins by stoppage, and then everyone will forget all the hype you've been giving bradley and come up with loads of excuses that he was untested or something.

I think we are in one of the greatest era’s of the sport at present, regardless of any nostalgia others may feel. JMM, Hatton, Pacquiao, and possible Mayweather; my favourite 4 fighters, and they could all possibly meet each other!

    What utter pish.

Hatton is the de facto man at 140. No other current boxer comes close.

Bradley didn't look so great against Witter i've recorded the Cherry fight to watch tonight. He seems hungry and capable but not in Hattons league IMO.He should fight Holt or Torres then lets see where he stands

For being the supposed king of 140, Hatton is as beatable a fighter as there is right now. A win over the feather-fisted Paulie Malignaggi isn't gonna make intelligent boxing fans forget about the difficulties he's had over the past few years. Personally, I think Bradley beats him. He's not the typical limited Hatton opponent and he's certainly not over the hill. Don't expect Hatton to face anyone who can really threaten him. He couldn't even get through a fight with the ringworn Lazcano without getting dinged and relying on the referee's assistance. Hatton's not a washed up De La Hoya so Pacquiao doesn't quite pose the type of threat that many would have you believe.

Dear God! The top p4p fighter in the world and legitimate all time great is no threat, but an unproven prospect with one decent win his whole career is?

A bit harsh, I think he did look good against Witter, he looks like a decent little fighter. However, his perormance that night is getting slightly overrated due to the fact that he was a big underdog. If you're judging him as an unproven prospect it was a superb win. If you're judging him as a top class fighter it was merely decent. Put it this way if Hatton had put in that performance to win a split decision (admittedly should have been a UD but it wasn't an absolute pasting) over a lethargic fighter who faded down the stretch and offered nothing other than the occasion attempted big shot I doubt too many would be lavishing praise on him.

Bradley-Holt will be a good one, if he wins that one he becomes the natural challenger to the Hatton-Pac winner.

????? Bradley has a sub 50% KO record and has gone ten rounds or more with such luminaries as Francisco Rincon, Donald Camarena, Miguel Vazquez and Edner Cherry but now he's going to KO Hatton? Have a word with yourself!
