    Haye is just a ********

Since he moved to HW I just forgot about him, the new fans jumped on his bandwagon, the idiots... and Haye himself, as CW he was top but as a HW he became a bum.

    Drama queen.

If it was an ongoing injury that became increasingly worse i can understand cancelling the fight after the results of the MRI scan but would surgery need to be performed the following day, i wouldn't think so as no more serious training would be performed. I think it was more a case of trying to deflect the negative comments that would surface but by having the operation and then showing a post op picture adds credibility to the cancellation.

5 hours in surgery doesnt sound like a proceedure that could be put off .

My guess is yes, he could.

Peter Fury was on the radio last night, and said exactly the same thing, Haye has elected to do this work but could have fought without having it done until the end of his career.

None of us know fact's, it's a forum where people have an opinion.

Since when do you get RUSHED into hospital for a shoulder injury? It's not life threatning, we all know that!

Haye is a complete blagger! end of!

Why would anyone walk away from a £5m pay day and then put themselves through a 5 hour surgery when its not completely necessary? C'mon, conspiracy-people, let it go...

Since when is shoulder surgery a necessity? A necessity for what? His future plans in acting.

Most people would be waiting months for surgery.

Not saying it's a conspiracy, but we arent getting the full story.

fact is haye has a track record for this bull****

boy that cried wolf rings true here

if this just happened out of the blue we would believe, but given every stunt he has pulled we would be fools to take what he says at face value

if haye just said 'My heart isn't in boxing any more' like many fighters do, our respect for him would have remained intact

Maybe the Wlad fight made Haye realise he isn't anywhere near as good as he thought he was and his ego just couldn't take it. It's then affected him mentally to the point that he no longer has the stomach or passion for a fight. Maybe Haye could have waited till after the fight for surgery or maybe he could fight again if push came to shove, but he just doesn't have the motivation to put him self through it and this injury was just the perfect excuse to get now.

Obviously he went to the hospital and took doctors best advice which was an immediate surgery and retirement from boxing... David can afford the best doctors and therefore gets the best treatment (and advice). I don't know about you but if I was advised to have an immediate surgery by a doctor I would not question it for 1 minute.

People are acting as if he went into the hospital and begged for a surgery.
