Hearns could outbox him and win an UD. But trying to brawl with him is equivalent of playing Russian Roulette.
No. Hagler would wear him down and stop him most times if they fought. Hagler took his best shots in the first round.
He almost had him on cuts. Its not impossible. He also broke his hand in round 2. Inwould always favour mmh though.
He would have to box for 15 rounds straight - something that wasn't in Hearns nature. He'd brawl out some point. Hagler would also put a lot of pressure on him to make him uncomfortable & have no other choice but to brawl. He still has a chance depending on which Hagler shows up. The relatively passive Hagler that was trying to box with Duran & Leonard loses to Hearns via UD. IMO - it's Hagler's fight to lose - therefore, I pick Hagler.
Frankly, he couldn't keep Hagler off of him. People forget Tommy tried to box at distance in the 2nd, but Hagler kept coming and landing. So the answer is no, although someone mentioned cuts, which is a possibility albeit slight
No if the fight is at 15 rounds. At 12 it is way easier, so he could probably stand any chances. Same for leonard, I think, I highly doubt leonard could win to hagler in a 15 rounds fight.
If ya think about it,Hearns would Probobly beat them all at Cruiserweight ( fab 4).Don't picture the other 3 being able to carry that weight.
