Hearns would starch Robinson himself. Cold.

First good thread in a long time. I would say yes.... just because Hearns would have been so much different in style than the other fighters of the Robinson era. While Hearns didnt have the chin of Robinson, I would say he was up to snuff in all other areas and exceeded Robinson in power drastically. I think he would have destroyed Robinsons comp, particularly at Welter.

Holy crap this is a good thread. Robinson didn't face many big hitters but there is a chance Lamotta outworks him to a late stoppage.

Man please! Hearns would whip Lamotta's ass. Hearns was outboxing Sugar Ray Leonard until the 14th... You think Lamotta's gonna get close to him without being stopped dead in his motha****in tracks by a nuclear right hand?

hearns went 12 rounds with dough cobra dewitt in 1986. among others surving the right hand. sugar ray rob would have stretched him via that weak chin. how can we take you serious with that gay ass avatar ?? :rofl

Lamotta would eat that right hand, laugh at hearns, then ***** slap him.

I like hearns btw, but if he fought lamotta he would end up like what hagler did to him.

The more I look at it the more I see Hearns losing a few times.

I would say hearns had a slightly below average chin. A SRR left hook would for sure put him to sleep.
