I believe bernard would have his way with a fighter who is so easy to read like adonis stevenson. probably stopping him late. hopkins is so smart and experienced, and adonis so predictable. just the type the alien would rid useless and throw in the trash. hopkins tko9 stevenson if that fight happened.

Think Hopkins would still beat that guy now.

The pre-Calzaghe version of Hopkins would've ended Stevensons career.

No, he's too old and Stevenson hits too hard. Few years ago, certainly.

Bhop would never have stopped him, quite likely he would have bored him to a points decision....that's one ****ing dull as dishwater fighter!

Adonis isn't easy to read . He's unpredictable and moves around well. The power is savage and Hop can be gotten to. Bad fight for a 50 year old man.
Based off the Chilemba fight , Krusher gets beaten by supa pimp as well.

It's too bad Adonis will never fight either of those guys, and will fade into obscurity very soon.

    I'd favour Hopkins now tbh.

This. Hopkins at this age leaves the ring on a stretcher against Adonis. Adonis won't show him the Mercy that Kovalev did. It was obvious by the 5th that Kovalev was carrying Hopkins through the fight.

I reckon precise combos bouncing off the glass that Adonis has would result in a stoppage. Hopkins wins

You guys are morons. Adonis doesn't have much boxing mileage on him. He's the only one at 175 with ONE PUNCH KO power.

He could beat Ward, Kovalev, BeterBeast, Chilemba etc etc. he has (until he starts slowing) the fastest left cross, with the most power in it at 175. I think he'd lose to Ward and beat the others right now.

If we are referring to the date when Hopkins fought Kovalev and asking "could Hopkins have beaten Stevenson then," I would say that no I would not have predicted for that to happen. The best light heavyweight version of Hopkins? Absolutely.
