Hopkins is my favourite fighter of all time but I think he's too old and been too inactive to win the fight now. A couple of years ago I would of favoured him, but not now. He was showing more rapid signs of decline prior to the loss to Kovalev and since then he's not fought for 2 years, being so inactive will take it's toll even on Hopkins.

Sure Stevenson is one dimensional and predictable. But so is Pascal, Stevenson is basically a better, southpaw Pascal and a better Hopkins struggled, was dropped twice in the first fight and lost 4-5 rounds in the 2nd fight and that was a Hopkins 5-6 years younger than today. Hopkins of 2010-2011 would of had his hands full in beating Stevenson back then, now years later with 2 years inactivity that's too big an ask even for the Executioner.

He would have had a much better chance against him that he would have Kov.

Hopkins is amazing at taking away your best weapon. If he could take away Adonis's left, Adonis would have been rendered useless.

Hopkins made a mistake going after Kov, but it would have been better for his legacy had he beat him.
