could I get any constructive criticism on my latest video snippet

I am finding it difficult to creative high production value videos, that also contain enough new information for boxing fans to sink their teeth in. Is it too dramatic, or boring? Does it move too fast? I am very new to editing so any help would be great. please let me know and thank you for your time and attention.

I think you have potential, I like the editing, the only thing that looks out of place is the text in the video sometimes. Like at 0:38.

 

Overall, think it's really good - the montage and video techniques at the start are slick but maybe the flickering is a little too fast and often for my liking - and I think we need to know from the get-go the message behind the video rather than see the montage and then learn why you're showing it, if that makes sense...

 

Looks pretty good but i think too many sound effects can be distracting

 

thank you so much, i think you're right. Didn't put as much care into the text as the rest. Looks slightly amateurish.

 

yeah, might put some of the voice over at the start to properly hook in the viewer and not confuse them. Thanks for taking the time.

 

might better mix the audio so they stay in the background. I appreciate you taking the time.

 

If you were going for a fast pace you certainly nailed it!

Though, you might need to put an epilepsy warning in the beginning if you keep the flickering magazines that fast

 

Slow it down, son. The narration is fine, music is just annoying and distracting. If the content is accurate and interesting you don't need any fancy effects or editing. You can add an intro or any effects afterwards. And cut Max Kellerman out.

And most of all make sure the aspect ratio is always right. If I see a clip in the wrong aspect ratio I assume the uploader is just dumb and switch it off.

 

I didn't have enough ali posters to stretch it out so I just had to make it seem like there were tons by moving them quick haha. the epilepsy warning might be a good idea even if I do end up toning it down

thank you for your thoughts! keeping the aspect ratio correct is difficult as a lot of the clips are from different eras, that and I also have no idea what I am doing. will tone down the music.
