Could Ibragimov be the hardest opponent Wladimir has faced in years?

Don't pounce on me, I'm the first to recognize Sultan will probably get KO'd late into the fight, but the question is another: can he be the first one in years to give Wladimir a very tough fight?

    1) Rematch with Brewster: It had mismatch written all over it before the first bell (Brewster's eye, inactivity, plodding style, the first fight he was taking an awful beating, ecc....)

    2) Ray Austin: :patsch

    3) Calvin Brock: A lot of people were giving him a chance, not me. He didn't have the mentality nor the style that Sultan will bring into the ring (sounds like I'm a fan of him, I'm not, don't make me wrong).
He was an ordinary/good HW with no particular talent, no aggressiveness, unproven chin (he was only tested against McCline).
Anyway, as it turned out, Klitschko had never been in danger of losing.

    4)rematch with Byrd: see Austin

    5)Eliseo Castillo: sacrifical lamb

6)Samuel Peter: here we come. Yeah I know, he was outclassed, he was wobbled by that big left hook and so on, but he was probably the last one to give Wlad a real fight.

If the Ibragimov who fought Briggs and Holyfield shows up, we'll most likely have another mismatch, but I'm desperately trying to convince myself that the old Sultan, the aggressive banger that so much impressed me against Whitaker will take the fight to Klitschko.
    What do you think?

Do you give him any chance?

I think he has fought quite a few guys who are on Ibragimovs level...abd a couple of them have knocked him out, so dont totally out rule an Ibragimov victory!

Ibragimov's power is also a big question mark. Before turning into this careful boxer he's today, he used to bang a lot and put down a lot of big guys :Whitaker, Austin, ecc......

As I'm another person that has never been enthused about Calvin Brock (thought credit to the guy, he probably got a couple rounds off Wlad), I would say it's Wladimir's biggest test since the Peter fight.

Though that's not the same thing as expecting him to lose, of course...

Bottom line for Sultan is, he has to be able to deal with Wladimir's jab. So much of his output these days is that jab and if you can't slip it or stop it, you're going to be eating an awful lot of it. Sultan's going to have to work that southpaw stance to the full.

If he fights like he did vs. Whitaker the fight will be over in under 3 rounds with Ibragimov sleeping on the ground...Ibragimov isn't really a threat to Wlad, just another title belt to pick up...

Sultan Ibragimov is a very good heavyweight, as good or better than any of Wlad's recent opponents. He doesn't seem to have any serious weaknesses.

This won't be a walk in the park for Wlad, although he will very likely win the fight.

Ibragimov is a fast starter and has to use his speed to take the fight to Wlad early and not let him get into a rhythm. He also has deceptive power and can surprise Wlad.

I cant wait for this fight. It should be really good. Ibragimov will give Klitchko a run for his money and I might even pick Ibragimov by UD.

Ibragimov can give klitchko some broblems, because of his style - hit and run..but, in reality there is no chance at all..his just to small to get real fight on.

Ibragimov is real good boxer, look at his fight in youtube against Felix Savon
