Could it be that Canelo is a good fighter?

If Canelo's confidence is not shot, he will do big things.

I think his performance is getting underrated.

Surprisingly, he had plenty of gas by the time the later rounds came about and his punches clearly did have pop on them.

Yeah people need to recognize. This fight was close. I'm actually watching it again right now. The first 6 rounds were extremely close, could have went either way. The first 6 rounds are very hard rounds to score. I took some notes of things I noticed that I might have missed the first time around.

He lost because he was drained and not hydrated, he wasn't fighting at his best weight. I still consider him undefeated and you should also because Floyd say so.

    See I sort of disagree.

I thought the first 6 were all Floyd with only one being relatively close, and I did score one of the first 6 an even round.

I thought Alvarez's performance in rounds 8 or 9 through 12 is what is being somewhat underrated... I gave him 2 of the last 6.

    ---

I still think Alvarez beats every 154 pounder out there pretty much.

Debatable. I thought Mayweather won, but overall Canelo was giving him all sorts of problems. He landed some nice punches on Floyd, and was very active. We haven't seen Floyd in this kind of a fight in a long time. Probably since Castillo I.

I'm not a Floyd fan, but i'm not blinded by hate and will admitt that Floyd boxed Canelo's ears off, the only time Floyd was taking any risks was standing stationary on the ropes so Canelo could keep up with him
