Saturdays fight is living up to being a exciting fight and one I'm looking forward too However, no matter which boxer your siding with IMO this fight could be won with tactics by there respective coaches Darren and David and information given between the rounds, what's your thoughts?
are you saying Ricky Burns being complete pants was actually YOUR fault?? anyway , i think fitness will play the biggest part in the fight
Billy - I'd appreciate your prediction on the outcome so I can place an educated bet on proceedings. Cleverly to have a slightly bigger and better punch than people are currently giving him credit for? I think so... If you believe what you read then Bellew is the only one with fists in the fight. I just think with two additional stone Bellew might get spudded.
I think Nathan is the faster more skilled fighter although Tony does punch harder. But IMO it's easier to have a gameplan to stop a puncher landing than a busy skilled fighter. You can't hurt what you can't hit!
I think Tony is more skilful than Clev, can box well on back foot or front foot. Clev is one dimensional, looks slower at CW, and lacks confidence at CW, hence why he has fought only two duds at the new weight. Bellew is a huge puncher at the weight, looks a lot better CW than LHW and we brutally beat Clev in the end.
How can a fight that hasn't taken place yet be "living up to being a exciting fight"? I think your getting mixed up between stage managed hype for television and the actual fight itself. Although i think the first fight was pretty entertaining, i wouldn't exactly call it a classic and both Bellew and Cleverley has been known to stink the joint out in some of their fights over the last few years so hardly a guarantee that the fight will be as good as the first, infact i don't think it will be.
Don't be silly. The right tactics from the trainer were only important when Ricky won, of cause when Ricky lost it was every one elses fault apart from the trainer.
Cleverly trainer very inexperienced basically a strenght and codintioning coach, don't think he's operated at this level
ditto im pretty sure that Cleverly has put 2 stone of muscle on which should carry to punch power imo... well that is what im hoping anyway
Suppose anything better than Vincent ,just thought he would look for someone who has more experience on big fights and tactics, the guy obviously knows his strength and conditioning clev looks great hopefully he surprises me by having a winning game plan
Don't understand why Clev never went back to Enzo Calzaghe, a very good coach or at least Gary Lockett if he is going to train in Wales
