Could Jack Dempsey have beaten Richard Simmons?

oh come on now. Sure the guy may be in shape, but he doesnt have the body build of Jack Dempsey.

 

Jess Willard, in his fight with Dempsey showed tremendous courage and heart to continue fighting...Jess Willard never quit despite suffering a horrible beating. I don't know if those gloves were loaded or not...But Jess Willard could have died...taking a beating like that... You just don't get it do you?...:-( pathetic

Simmons is so underrated it's criminal. He would beat Dempsey in the later rounds as his superior training takes over while JD fades

Simmons is the naturally heavier man; he has the benefit of modern sports science and nutrition; most of all, he's vastly more skilled than Dempsey. Athletes evolve, deal with it. You wouldn't pick a T-Rex over a human in a fight, would you?
