Could Jack Dempsey take out Fury same as he did to Willard

    If anything he would probably have even less respect for Fury's power than he did for Willards

    Willard hit harder and had the better chin, but Fury is more elusive

    I think it's a matter of WHEN Dempsey catches him, rather than what happens after

    Fury clowns him senseless. Comparing Willard to Fury is rife with inconsistencies. Willard was a leaden footed old man with very limited skill set. Fury is a light footed dancer, a deft and remarkable athlete who uses position and angles. And he is FAST.

    To be fair, Fury was not only simply more elusive than Willard but also bigger, a better and more accurate boxer, better and faster footwork, could switch to southpaw and probably a far better boxing IQ.

    Dempsey may well still take him out if he managed to catch him flush at some point but definitely not in the same way as he took out Willard.
