JMM is my boy but this one ends VERY bad for him...

He is the overall more skilled fighter, but Tito's huge size and devastating power advantage would be way too much for Marquez who is too small and slow at this weight.

JMM was never put on his ass against Diaz you dumb ****.:patsch

I know it hurts you that JMM did something your hero didn't have the balls to do, but lay off that haterade, it's clearly making you look more stupid than you already are. :hi:

no, Marquez beat Pacquiao because they're evenly matched in size, Tito was too big

The damage by the left hooks that Juan Diaz and Katsidis were able to land and hurt JMM with would pale in camparison to the impact of Tito's left hooks if he were to land similar shots.

    Trinidad by stoppage.

Just like it was predicted it would end with Pacquiao at WW. But the opposite happened.

I would have to see how JMM does against a legit WW before I can pick him. As of now, I just see JMM as a guy who can fight at that weight as long as it's the right opponent.

The problem here is as much as JMM may adjust in the second half of the fight, land sharp counters and out-maneuver Tito, any time Tito lands, it's going to look bad. The judges are likely to favor his work. JMM could pull off a DLH type performance had he moved up closer to his prime, but he'd have to overcome a knockdown or two concretely, and it's a very hard task.

I would'nt say Marquez is slow at 147 lbs. He did'nt look particularly slow against Pacquiao.
I'll even say Marquez' handspeed is better than Tito's at 147 lbs.

Where Tito has the advantage is in height and reach. Because of that, Marquez would have to be significantly faster than he is to get off.

Having said that though, Tito brings it, so the opportunities will be there for Marquez to counter him.
The key for Marquez in this fight would be to take only from the openings that are there and not got for the gusto because he wants to fight a fan friendly fight.

Dont throw so many combinations and go more for one's and two's. Make them hard one's and two's and keep Tito leary of wanting to taste more.

I would'nt make Marquez the favorite here by any means, but he's certainly not without chance even outsized by Trinidad in that he's much much more cerebral and skilled than he is.

The times Marquez has been knocked down has been because he's gotten overzealous. I dont see that happening in a matchup out of his weight zone against Trinidad. So no, I dont see this "he might go through a knockdown or two" scenario.
If Trinidad knocks Marquez down, Marquez fully saw the punch coming and the followup would'nt be kind for Marquez.
Trinidad is right up there with Tommy Hearns as far as pure punching power is concerned at 147 lbs.

The fact we still talking about Tito should give you an idea

It's a pattern of being overzelous against fighters with more firepower than him. For you to categorically dismiss the scenario makes no sense. And once it does happen, he might survive, but it wouldn't look good for him as you mentioned.

I don't know what all this Marquez is slow and bloated at 147 comes from. I saw the same exact Marquez in the latest Pacquiao fight at 147, that I saw in the Chris John fight at 126. All this bloated and slow stuff comes from one fight, that is Floyd Mayweather Jr. Let's face it, the majority of Floyd's opponents all of a sudden look old and slow when they face him.

Marquez's problem is that he isn't fast enough to really disrupt Tito. Tito would probably win a decision or tko him late.
