If he picked well he could win a few at CW with speed and boxing skills but his lack of power would seriously hamper him with some guys.

I doubt it. There's a big leap from 175 to 200, and with his lack of power I don't see there being much to stop the heavier guys walking all over him.

Glen johnson probably would have beat joe c....for some reason I feel like joe c wouldn't have been able to keep glen off him

nope, he looked pretty soft at light heavy, and there's no way he could have put on another 25 pounds and been successful.

Who the **** cares. The guy has no power and throws slaps. His fought in a suspect division his whole career and his most impressive fight was against a guy who got his ass kicked last night.

I doubt Joe C would have been much of a boxer.

I think Joe could of fought a Adamek or Eredi at cruiser, but not a Haye or Mac

I have no doubt that Calzaghe could have beaten the Ruiz that Roy Jones did. That is how bad and skill less Ruiz is.

Calzaghe was a small LHW when he moved up to fight Hopkins and Jones, going up to CW would have been a step too far.

nah--Joe was not able to hurt hopkins at all and hop is a small LH. Joe would have had serious trouble with prime Johnson or Dawson or ademek at LH--maybe he could have beaten those guys but I'm not so sure....at CW against a haye, or even prime Bell or Mormek I doubt he could have kept them off him even with his vastly superior speed, skill and boxing ability

Erdei proved it can be done without putting on any weight. I know he only beat a paper champ, but it showed the size difference is irrelevent. Erdei was a small LHW so I'm sure Joe could have done the same. But a top tier CW like Haye? I don't think so. If Hopkins can floor Calzaghe then Haye or Adamek would knock him out.
