If Joe C fought David Haye with Haye right at 200 and JC at his usual fighting weight, could JC wear down the Matrix Man?

    I think so.

Possibly but I think it's more than likely Haye would Knock him out.

Personally I think Haye knocks him out. Haye was a beast at cruiser

Its very unlikely. Calzaghe wasn't easy to hit consistently but you could certainly tag him big every now and then. Haye could take anything Joe could likely throw, but Calzaghe would not be able to take Haye's better shots.

    Haye by KO mid rounds.

Haye won't do very well at HW, but he was genuinely pretty badarse at Cruiser and would be far too much for Calzaghe, who was a small LHW.

Joe doesn't have a ****ing prayer here. Seriously? As soon as Haye hits him, Joe's going down and if he got back up it wouldn't be for long.

    Haye by ko within 3.

Haye would be too strong for Joe.

The natural size difference is Huge!!! Haye is and has always been the size of an old fasioned HW who could come down to the modern CW limit. Calzaghe is a natural SMW.

RJJ was able to shift up in weight very easily as he was near impossible to hit in his prime, but I'd still favour Haye over prime RJJ at CW. The much more hittable Calzaghe (particularly to the right hand) has very little chance of not getting blown out IMO.

He could have won a belt at CW though. Haye's just not a good match up for him.

Haye hasn't got a great chin, but do you honestly think that Calzaghe would trouble him with his pitter patter slaps. not to metion the fact that Haye punches like a ****ing beast, and that Calzaghe has been put down by far lesser punchers than Haye, oh yeah that and Haye is taller then Calzaghe.

Haye KO is the only ending to this.

I think if Joe thought he could win then he would have called him out. When Joe retired he said there was nothing left for him to do. A 3rd weight division would have been the obvious choice if he thought he could manage it. The beating that Enzo Mac took from Haye should have provided all the incentive Calzaghe needed but he knew it would be a step to far.

What a god awful match-up for Joe. Haye is 6'3, ripped to the bone, and punches very hard at Cruiserweight, and probably Heavyweight too. He also has very fast hands, and is extremely mobile for big guy. Calzaghe would be lucky to get out of the 5th.

Lol, Calzaghe the guy who got floored by a shot Roy Jones with one punch, and couldnt knock out a forty year old ROY Jones.

David Haye would hospitalise Calzaghe permanently

He could have knocked out Roy in the end but respected him too much for that.

And it's difficult to KO a man that aint really fighting and bitching all night like Hopkins
