Hell yeah ... Winky isn't a chump ... I think Winky will give alot of SMW trouble, including Calzaghe, Kessler, and whoever else.
He couldve got the nod over Hopkins IMO ... but he whatever.

I think Kessler might be scared of Miranda so I wouldn't jump the gun on that guy yet.

that's one way of twisting it.

here's another way, hopkins doesn't rate calzaghe and is overlooking him, this may cause him to get complacent.

for the record, joe has never been much of a trash talker.

miranda is a technically challenged chump. why would he be scared of him considering he's just taken the fight?

not overlooking him in favour of another fighter. but it could suggest he's unfocused and sees this as a straight forward payday.

do i believe that? that's for you to decide. maybe i'm just playing the same little game as you.

Who on Calzaghe's resume beats Taylor?

Even in his blown up out of shape and out of prime body, he gave Hopkins a tough fight.

I would've liked to see how he did in his younger days at that weight but alas...can't change history.

Basically we're on the same team here. I think Calz will beat Hopkins and handily in a somewhat boring ugly looking contest....BUT I don't know if I'd pick Kessler against a well trained properly motivated Winky.

Really the only advantage Hopkins has other than hometown support would be the fact that he can make a fight very dirty very quickly. Calzaghe has faced off against Bika, who makes Hopkins look like a girl scout as a fighter.

What does Hopkins have that Calzaghe hasn't seen before?

Bull****, a prime Winky outclassed Mosely and Trinidad and then a few months later jumped in with Soliman and struggled. Then followed up with the draw with Taylor and has showed decline only recently.

He looked so great at LMW because he also had a strength advantage that made up for those feather fists. It also helps fighting former LW's and former WW's that you have serious style advantages over in gaining such an absurd P4P regard!
