Ruiz was a good fighter no matter how ugly his style was. It could be call outright cheating, but hey, he wasn't DQ'd.
Fury - easy UD fury Joshua - AJ ko 3-5 rounds Wilder - wilder via Tua Andy- his hands are too fast, he would get a beating anytime he came close. Andy tko 8 Whyte - could maybe frustrate Whyte but would either get caught late or lose decision. Only way is to frustrate Whyte so much he wins by DQ
Fury be easy decision against Ruiz? You mean like Fury beat Otto Wallin easily? Fury has no talent besides running. Ruiz had no talent besides hugging. The fight wouldn't be easy. Wilder isn't David Tua. He doesn't hit as hard. He isn't nearly as aggressive, strong, or could take a punch as well. Wilder took 9 rounds to knock out butterball Eric Molina. Ruiz is better than Molina. Joshua has no chin and no stamina. He also isn't as aggressive or could take a punch like David Tua. He wouldn't finish Ruiz off that easily if at all. Ruiz would hug Joshua until he was tired. Andy Ruiz has fast hands compared to the slow unskilled guys of today. In the 90's Andy Ruiz would of been a nobody. There is nothing Andy Ruiz does that John Ruiz didn't see done better doing the 90's.
I think he would do ok in any era tbh. Imagine a fight between John Ruiz and Hughie Fury....what a war that would be.
The only one il give you is Rahman. And 6 of Rahman’s previous 8 opponents to the Ruiz fight were Maskaev Sanders Lewis x 2 Holyfield (ancient) Tua That’s a lot of wear and tear
Otto wallin is a tall south paw? Don’t really see the comparison. Maybe if you compared him to someone similar. Wilder would KO John Ruiz. You know it deep in your heart. Are we forgetting all of Ruiz’s robbery wins, losses and pass the parcel WBA with valuev (lol) and grandpa Holyfield. John Ruiz would get his head taken off via uppercut if he started hugging aj
