After tonight, it seems as though that JMM is done fighting in the LW division. Judging from tonight's performance, Juan Diaz has the tools to be the top dog in the LW division. What do you guys think?

It depends how he MENTALLY rebounds from the KO.

He has good physical tools and time to grow/improve.

Someone said in another thread that he is still a young fighter, but damn, at this age and taking on fighter with great experience would surely benefit him in the long run imo.

absolutely Juan Diaz will be the top dog of the 135 division. He has the skill and desire to be up there, there's nobody else that can beat him at that weight and he is only 25!! He needs to learn how to clinch though

It was a close fight..before the KO the scorecard was 77-75 diaz,
77-75 marquez, 76-76 draw....He could have won against an elite p4p fighter..so there is a chance he could be the future top dog in LW..

Diaz is never gonna improve. He's been in his prime for several years now, and is a 25 yr old with alot of mileage on him. After this, he'll prob begin to decline.

Yall pay WAY too much attention to age.

yea true.. pacman-campbell are fighting at 140 now. Marquez is proly on his way there too. Joan Guzman would be a big threat to diaz the rest i think he could beat.

Casamayor- 37 yrs old and is way past his prime
Valero- He has the puncher's chance but i think diaz would beat him
David Diaz-outwork him to a UD
Khan-weak chin he proly beat him
    Barrera-too old

    katsidis-julio diaz he already beat.

I think your right. The kidz only 25. He's got the time, yu know?

I don't foresee anyone else in that division giving 'eem that much trouble.
