He'd have to be a lucky mofo to still be undefeated at this point. Overall luck obviously hasn't been on his side when it comes to the judges.

This is what trips me out.....when people say jmm didn't do enough to beat norwood, then what the **** did norwood do that was so ****en special to deserve that robbery of a fight.....and you can't say the kd, cause jmm dropped his ass twice

I agree with you here.Norwood didn't do much of anything BUT he landed the harder, flashier shots when he did and he won his rounds more clearly prolly.

But he averaged like 20 punches a round which is pathetic.

Nah......He shoul have legitimately 2 or 3 looses. He def lost to PAC in the Draw he was given and the SD was close but he lost that one too. JMM is like DLH....DLH never really dominated before Hop and the close fights could have gone one way or the the other but most were the right call.

I thought the norwood fight could have gone either way....the scoring was terrible. But I gave it to Norwood myself but I haven't seen that fight in years. JMM boxed well but Norwood seemed to land the hards shots.

I felt he lost both fights to Pacquiao the 1st due to a scoring error admitted by one judge, and the rematch Pacquiao won by scoring a knock down, the john fight come on now you know Marquez didnt lose that.

He lost to Norwood and many had him losing to John, that fight wasnt a robbery but yes close

Should have made the question more clearer.....

    What is it?

Should JMM be undefeated? Or Could JMM be undefeated.

If its could then of course he could be undefeated...all his losses were very close (havent seen Norwood one though)

I still dont believe the Chris John fight was a robbery.....so many rounds were so hard to score absolutely nobody can proclaim with absolute certainty that JMM won by 3 clear points before the point deductions, and I thought one of the point deductions was legit.

JMM landed **** all cleanly that night, as did Chris John......hence why it was such a close fight.....just cos it was Chris John in Indonesia and there was a dubious point deduction was the reasons for robbery cried...It was a very tight fight. The scorecards were just a bit wide for John

I dont get what examples we need to give? What are you referring too? You asking for scorecards or summit?

Clear up the question anyway......your thread title and poll title are too different questions

i guess i can't stomache how some people think marquez didn't do enough, yet norwood didn't do half of what marquez did...maybe i'm just a bit bitter about that fight :fire:fire

I dont think him being undefeated would make him a megastar. He has had TERRIBLE management throughtout his career and has only recently, besides Pac of course fought superstar scale fights. That and Im sure he was avoided by quite a few fighters.

That being said, you really cant say he should be undefeated. Ive never seen his first fight so I cant comment on that, but the Norwood fight I thought he won, The first and second Pac fights could have gone either way and the John fight I thought he clearly won. So, other than the Pac fights he should have gotten the nod. Although he wasnt decisively beaten in the Pac fights, he didnt decisively beat him either, so like I said it could have gone either way.
