1. lossed due to a head butt in his very first bout! DQ 2. he lost a decision to freddie norwood... most people felt JMM deserved the nod.. he outlanded norwood 3. I watched the john vs. jmm 2 times and JMM was clearly robbed in indonesia 4. Now manny, the fights were so close they could of gone either way.. I think that manny may have edged out JMM in the second bout, But it was soo damn close I cant really call it a loss.. So yes JMM could be undefeated
You can definitely make a valid argument for him being undeafeated. John was a hometown decision. JMM won the first Pacquiao fight 113-112 in my eyes. I think the 2nd fight was a draw at worst for JMM.
Expect a great fight Freddy........two undefeated fighters will walk up into that ring as far as I'm concerned! At the very least, the mentality of both fighters is that no fighter has defeated them!:bbb
yes, if he didn't lose a bunch of times. seriously though you can make an argument for each loss being a victory (though i have to say i haven't see the first two loses). the manny fights i scored of pac but EASILY could have gone his way (i had him within a point for each). on the flip side the barrera win was iffy, at least in how wide it was but otherwise he's relatively free of controversy
JMM only got robbed in the John fight, the Norwood fight and the Pacquiao rematch could of gone either way JMM got a gift in the first Pacquiao fight.
I don't know man. I watched the fight once and I've been in a few situations where I've gone back and re-watched the same fight and came out with a different outcome. I know JMM was busier...I just recall Fred landing harder more effective punches. It's not one of the fights I decided to collect for obvious reasons.
OK, I just watched the Norwood fight for the 1st time. JMM was robbed outright. Even with the idiot Joe Cortez call of a slip when it was a knockdown, Marquez won the fight 114-112. This was a clear win for JMM.
exactly....and i aint saying jmm dominated him neither, but jmm clearly did more, got robbed of a knockdown etc etc..... anyone who see's that fight for norwood really worries me :fire
You'd have to be very biased not to give JMM the fight. And, yeah, he looked uncomfortable and tentative, but he clearly won more rounds, and it should have been walk-away victory for him because Norwood was down twice. Even the commentators were in agreement that JMM clearly won the fight.
