I think Judah puts Clottey to sleep. Clottey isn't as fast as Mosley, isn't as powerful as Mosley and tends to take rounds off. Judah is faster, more powerful and I really think the voice of an ACTUAL trainer in Mayweather will benefit him somewhat in the corner.

Judah KO 8 on Clottey unless Teddy Atlas picks him.

I remember reading that he got a new "assistant trainer" in Jeff Mayweather. Basically as an additional corner guy, I'm trying to find the link for it now.

Found it Apollo...it's on the site where the scene is b-o-x-i-n-g.

    It's Floyd Mayweather Sr actually

"It's not about learning new things, it's about sharpening up and being at my best and Floyd Mayweather Sr is a very experienced guy in the ring and in championship fights. He has a lot of experience and a lot of knowledge in the boxing game and we brought him in to mix what he has to offer with our style to make a better and more Super Judah."

Thanks man, I'll check it out later. Zab got way too stationary against Cotto, maybe Sr. can add a few things. There's no good reason why he can't put up a better effort against Clottey.

When you said Mayweather, my first thought was how damned funny it would be to see Roger working Zab's corner. :D

I couldn't remember which one it was but I was DAMN sure it wasn't Roger.

Although I'd pay any ammount of money to see a debate between Roger Mayweather and Yoel Judah.

Agreed completely. But could Yoel make a rebuttal without shadowboxing? :think

  11. Clotty knocks him out:dead Judah can't deal with pressure and gets stopped whenever he steps up in competition, this is no exception..
**** Judah couldn't beat Carlos Baldimar, he isn't gonna beat Clotty.

Prepared or not, Judah can't go more than 3 rounds these days and I'm pretty damn sure it would take more than 3 rounds to trouble Clottey. Clottey wins this by decision or late KO.

Im a big judah fan and i really am rooting hard for him in this fight.... i like clottey and he is a real good fighter in my opinion, damn good.... but i have to pull for zab, that being said.... i just dont see it happening, i honestly dont think zabs power will be a factor, and i think clottey will just walk him down round after round, maybe lose the frist two rounds but then he will continue to walk judah down and catch him more and more.

I would like to see judah use his feet, jab, and speed to constantly move.... circle circle circle, keep that jab in clotteys face.... open up with combos when he needs to and win the rounds on ring generalship, but thats just not zab. He tries to win by throwing fast combos and rarely has a solid gameplan outside of overwelming someone with his power and speed.

I hope im wrong and zab can win in impressive fashion.

Judah has the skill & speed to outpoint Clottey. If he just doesn't run out of gas... IMO a focused Judah could pull this one off. And maybe set up a Malignaggi fight, Which could be winnable for Judah & Judah could retire on a good note.

So when you look at the picture of the fight, it goes like this.

    Power: Both have decent power.
    Speed: Judah.
Defense: Clottey by a mile (altought working with Sr might help Judah
    Chin: Clottey. No contest.
Stamina: Both suck but Judah suck more.

The thing is, we don't know how Clottey will do against a fast guy like Judah who has good fundamentals and can box. We know he can brawl but i think Judah can and will outbox him. Clottey just CAN'T fight on the outside so if Judah can win rounds without getting to close he will win this fight IMO.

So IMO, Judah could outbox Clottey to a UD and with May Sr in his corner i think it can happen...
