I don't see any way Judah loses this if he prepares for the fight as seriously as he did for Cotto. He's a level above Clottey skill-wise and a few levels above him talent-wise. Clottey's stamina might be even worse than Judah's and it's not out of the question that he gets hurt badly by a flush shot from Zab. Judah also has the style advantage and almost every advantage you can name.

Judah is no longer a serious contender...he hasn't won an important fight in who knows how long and he dropped the ball on tune-up fights as well. Clottey is a good fighter that showed what he has in his destruction of Corrales RIP. He would have beaten Margarito if it wasn't for the injury...it was very obvious that he was injured as his whole demeanor changed.
I think he breaks Judah down and knocks him out late...since we already know how SUSPECT Judahs chin is (you can't even call it suspect anymore....its GUILTY at this point).

    Clottey by KO in 10.

You are correct, Clottey is not a pressure fighter who has crunching power and this leaves Zab off the hook to slide in and out and mug all night long. This is no Gimme but Judah has good chances aginst this top welter.

I think he can't be the same after a one year inactivity, then the beating by Cotto, his arm accident, etc.

No way Judah can win. He couldn't even handle baldomir and Clottey was winning the fight against baldomir until being disqualified. Clottey will go on to whip Cotto or margarito in a rematch.

I think Clottey wins close UD possibly even scored as a SD. Clottey has been looking for a world title for some time now and will be well up for this fight with Judah. Judah has fought two poor opponents in his last two fights and Clottey in the same timeframe has had three fights against marginally better opposition. I think Clottey will be hungrier for this and eke out the win, although this fight is winnable for Judah I think Clottey will be more motivated for this one !

I put both of these guys at about the same level as world class contenders. Thing is Zab seems to be fading as of late as those losses against Baldo, Mayweather, and especially Cotto have taken something out of him. Still, I give him about a 40% chance of pulling it off here. People seem to highly overrate Clottey and unlike some here, I think he can be beaten by many of the best at welterweight.

If pressed to pick a win I'd take Clottey by decision, but I wouldn't be to surprised if Judah were to come in prepared here and give a great effort and switch that result around.

I agree. I think Clottey is a game welter and very tough but ultimately limited.

Judah in his prime might have gotten something done here but he is another limited welter. He didn't carry his power up in weight very well and he already had chin/defense issues at 140. His sometimes brawler nature is what will cost him against the upper level.

Fairly even matchup that I look forward to seeing. I lean towards Clottey because of style comparisons.

It's a 50/50 fight for me. I say a truly focused Judah wins by UD. I think Judah knows he's up against a top fighter, and won't come poorly prepared like he did with Baldomir.

Judah can beat anyone period. He has natural talent and no matter what anyone says, his fights with floyd and cotto were very comptetive. With that being said, I believe clotteys defense is going to play an integral part with joshua winning this one. I am expecting joshua to put on a very impressive show. after he gets his belt, its on to Cotto to shut all these ****ers up on how good joshua really is. cant wait for that to happen.

trust me on this, clottey can outbox judah. his skills are that good. He is going to surprise a lot of people this way. believe that. People underrate his boxing skills along with everything else. he can dance in there and for 12 rounds. Pretty much the way I see a judah victory is if zab blows him out in the early rounds which he is definetly capable of.

Clottey is gonna break Judah down and stop him. Judah is a small welterweight and Clottey is a big and strong welterweight with a great high defense and very good chin. Judah ain't knocking Clottey out i'd bet my life savings on that!~

I expect Clottey to beat the **** out of Judah, badly. This hopefully will put an end to Judah and his on going soap opera.
