I can see him as a tough matchup, yes. Apart from Ruiz from a few years ago, I always thought Kabayel would have the best chances to beat Usyk.
No way, Kayabel still has 0 head movement he's decent but just fought 2 basic opponents with no plan b Even Ruiz jr would light him up with combos
I voted no because the question is too vague. Anyone can cause anyone problems but I don't expect Kabayel to seriously threaten victory.
Sort of. He could cause Usyk issues for the first 5 rounds. Then Usyk would take over. We have no idea if Kabayel could read Usyk's left hand. It is such a tricky shot to anticipate and it hurts 250 lb men. We have no idea if Kabayel could take Usyk's right hook. Beating Sanchez and Arslanbek is impressive but it doesn't mean he can handle Usyk's workrate, movement, and tricky combinations. However, Kabayel's body work would cause problems early on until Usyk would bide his time and take over.
I think small guys would give Usyk more problems, than so called "big guys" Kabayel has great pressure, solid chin and good power.
Usyk always has problem with a fighter with body works. He was eight counted from Beterbiev and Dubois. I am surely that he will has a problem with Agit.
Depends on your definition of problems, it's too vague a term to give an answer. Chisora won 2 rounds against Usyk and people said he gave Usyk problems, so by than definition yeah maybe Kabayel could win 2 rounds against Usyk. But lets be honest fight not Kabayel would be a huge underdog. Beating Makhudov and Sanchez was great but both those fighters were wildly overrated and nowhere near the level of the top guys like Usyk. Right now Kabayel's best win is still probably Chisora as Makhmudov and Sanchez have never beaten anyone as good as Chisora. So I wouldn't favour Kabayel right now over Joshua, Parker, Fury or even Zhang and Wilder right now, let alone Usyk.
Problems in this regard is a fight where the rounds are close and Usyk looks uncomfortable at many points in the fight. Not uncomfortable for 2 rounds where he ultimately wins by a margin of 10 -2. Could Kabayel push the fight to make every, or most of the rounds close? It could be said that Chisora gave him problems but he clearly won the fight. Could Kabayel give him more problems than Chisora and Fury (not more than 2 rounds of ''problems'')?
I bet against this guy every time, but he always wins! I want to say no, but then maybe I'll lose the bet again :'D Edit: I put £50 on Makhmudov to win thinking it would be the easiest £5 return, but then realised once again I don't know shhhh about boxing! xD
Usyk already schooled opponents his size. He’s now moved on to the big guys. Kabayel will be a tough fight, but Usyk will stop him, he ain’t big enougj
Hahaha. You lost £50 cos of £5, hilarious. I've won all my bets since all these Saudi crusades started, but I just do it for fun.
He took pretty nasty body shots from Fury and he was fine. I thought we were over with "Usyk is weak to the body" myth.
Not serious problems, no. There is no way that the fight will happen, and it would be bad for Agit anyway. He could be a major player in the post-Usyk era...why take a loss and go to the back of the line?
