Could Kell Brook beat Berto?

I'm not sold on Berto but he's proven himself in better class than Brook.

I'm not sold on Berto, but he would knock Brook out IMO. Berto reminds me of Shane Mosley, he's fast and athletic which some people mistake for being slick, but he's basically a fast brawler with decent pop. He doesn't have the power or chin of Shane though. People who are gonna trouble Berto are foundamentally sound fighters or guys who make him think and give him a lot of angles and movement.

Brook is very stiff, has no chin to chest tuck. His power is overrated and he switch hits just for the sake of it. Berto would counter him over the top and catch him with fast combos on the inside.

A better question would be can Brook beat Luis Collazo? I think someone like Collazo would give Brook a boxing lesson.

Berto would eat him, ****ing him up with sharp hooks and uppercuts on the inside.

Berto's not great, but he's too good for Brook.

 

Brook is over rated and at the moment is a Euro level fighter at best. He might develop into a world class boxer but he needs to stay out of nightclubs, he hasn't earned a pair of silk pajamas yet.

Berto would murder Brook for me. When people mention Brook they talk about potential but I've never seen potential wrap a world title belt around it's waist.

That is how it was starting to look at ringside. To be fair Brook didn't look at his best, but I would very much like to see the re-match in DEC.

 

I like Brook but hes proven nothing. Im not sold on Berto either i think hes fighting too many bums and small men for a WBC welterweight champ.

What is wrong with Kell Brook? His career is taking forever to get going. He will 25 soon and he seems so inactive?? Is he just a party guy or something? what is with him?

 

One sequence in that fight which summed up Brook for me. He came in stiff as a board, decided to switch stances for no reason other then to confuse himself and walked into a Jennings jab that had his head doing a Mickael Jackson.
