What is your definition of quickness, a P4P fighter like taylor coudn't see Pavliks right, Pavlik knows how to throw effective punches, Kesslers punches are all straight predictable. Kessler punch power @ top level is also over rated. Pavlik has also shw far greater mental strength and ability to adapt. Kessler is very one paced, he doesnt have different levels/gears he can switch to. Don't get me wrong hes a good challenge/matchup for any elite fighter.

I think his Danish promotion team now have less confidence in him than he does in himself.

Well it depends how do you define 'as decisive'. Pavlik dominated Miranda and did it the harder way, threw a lot and landed a lot (46%). Miranda landed 26% of his punches but was never able to get into the fight...

While Kessler might not stop Miranda at all or only in the late rounds, I think he'd land at least 50% (or 60%) of his punches and Miranda wouldn't even land 20%...

Kessler wouldn't destroy Miranda like Pavlik did but he would give Edison an Andrade type of boxing lesson.

Pavlik's chin is ok, but he's been dropped and hurt on more than one occassion by less than spectacular punchers. Kessler, on the other hand, has never been dropped nor visibly hurt while fighting naturally bigger guys. I don't think you can really point to any evidence to suggest Pavlik's chin is as good as Kessler's.

Power is arguable, but Pavlik does probably hold an edge, yes. Heart? We haven't seen Kessler's properly tested yet as he hasn't let himself get into a position where he needs to survive, unlike Pavlik. As for adaptibility, I haven't seen Pavlik vary his gameplan at all. He marches forward and throws plenty of shots. It's effective, but it's certainly not indicative of a fighter that can adapt to any challenge. Same goes for ring smarts.

Opposition-wise, both Taylor and Miranda are seriously overrated. Pavlik may be slightly better as far as names go, but they're not worlds apart in resume terms. Kessler suffers because his opposition aren't as mainstream even if they're talented fighters.

Styles make fights! Isn't that what we always say? Pavlik backed Miranda up and beat him unmercifully while absorbing numerous huge right hands himself. That's Kelly's style. Pavlik is also wiling to take big risks, and leave absolutely everything in the ring.

That's not the way Kessler fights. Against Calzaghe it seemed to me that one of the big differences was Joe's willingness to "leave it all in the ring." Kessler seems to fight with more of a safety first attitude. Against Miranda it would be the same thing. Barring a lucky shot from Miranda I think Kessler would give him a 12 round boxing lesson, and win a wide UD. And by the way, I am a Miranda fan, but not a Kessler fan. I'm just trying to be realistic.

    Andrade or Miranda ?

Kessler beat Andrade 120-108, he can do the same to Miranda since they are equal fighter..., I actually think that Andrade beat Miranda at 168..., Pavlik vs Andrade would be a war..., but Kessler would easy ud Pavlik 118-110.

BTW..., Taylor have a jab..., but Kessler jab is stronger, Kessler is more active, way more active than Taylor.

You guys will realise how good Kessler is after Calzaghe knock Hopkins out.

Kessler is such a coward, how dare he opt out of fighting a b level fighter who has failed in each attempt to win a title, so Kessler instead decides to take on a guy (Mundine) who is ranked way higher than Miranda and has an actual Belt, yep real chicken that Kessler guy is
