No because he is star struck by Mayweather. Just the way he acts outside of the ring is borderline obsessive and almost *****. He will try to box the master boxer. Haven't you guys learned anything over the years. That would be one fight where the shoulder roll would be prominent because Khan can't punch and move .

He plants his feet and throws a bunch of light punches. If they were heavy they would not be that fast, so they are light jabs.
The combination of those jabs can be a force for alot of fighters that don't know how to ...key word here...."ADJUST".

Or Floyd can just wing a wild left and catch him, that always works.

And the short factor that a stiff right hand from Mayweather Jr would do a lot more damage to Khan than it did to Oscar.

 

I don't think the Oscar fight was particularly close tbh. Maidana did way better (albeit against a way older Floyd)

There isn't a boxer out there who can. Maidana did well, but his output was probably still 200 punches less than it needed to be.

 

Yup, Maidana in their very first fight definitely made it interesting, although I think part of that was the fact that like other recent bouts, Floyd made the gameplan decision to stand and trade more with Maidana.

In Maidana 2, he moved a lot more, threw the jab a lot more and it just wasn't close.

 

Above all else too is the fact that Khan is genuinely stupid enough to believe he can outbox Mayweather. He's basically already lost in any potential fight for that reason.

Khan is chinny and his ring smarts and skills are eons behind Mayweather.

Khan's speed has always caused him to be overrated. He barely has a snowball's chance in hell, even against a 38 year old Floyd.

 

I was waiting for Khan to test himself against a decent fighter. Instead he fights a kickboxer. Khan can't beat floyd i don't think its even close. He's not going to be able to outbox floyd and his defense definitely isn't good enough to keep floyd from out landing him. Oscar's blueprint is flawed. Oscar was torn apart by floyd. Landed a bunch of arm punches that did no damage with pillow gloves at 154lbs.
