you know Bradley does chin-ups maybe he can do that. Oh and I think he got caught cold in the Presscott fight so I know its bad but not that bad. Hes not Floyd Patterson or Michael Grant.

Pacman has been knocked down by a jab so maybe Khan's chin can improve

Kotelnik has the power to KO him, don't you worry about that.

De La Hoya was down a couple of times at 130, and he solidified as he went up. But he was never out on his feet.

Can his chin improve? Yes, but within certain limits. Better training, bigger size and in particular work strengthening his neck and legs can all help anyone's punch resistance. But the chin is very difficult to make better, like speed, a lot of it is just innate. Khan will never have a great chin or even a good one but he may well be able to improve it to a little below average from pretty damn poor.

The main thing that Khan can improve is his defence. Khan doesn't have a good chin naturally, but he does have amazing speed. Speed is one of the things any defense minded coach loves to work with. Khan's defence, at least prior to the Barrera fight (which can't tell us much but it did seem a bit better), wasn't particularly good. You can have a top level career with good defence or a good chin, or better still both, but you can't have a career at world level without either.

If Khan is going to survive at the top of the game he needs to work on his chin as much as possible, but as only limited improvement can be expected there, the key for him is mastering defence. It remains to be seen if he will do so, but it's certainly not impossible and he does have the physical tools to become very elusive.

if his weight is welter but he fights at light he should take punches better. Bigger men hit harder. pac man is the exception. I dont think its nothing you can do to help your chin. you can absorb punches better if you move up. but if you get hit on the chin and you just cant take them nothing you can do.

winky says he chews gum alot to strenthn it

I have to disagree with you their, khan has grown rapidly in the past year or so, i feel when he started he was a natural light welter but has since grown into a natural welter, its all well and good going down in weight to reach a limit but when its making khans legs as weak as it is, then somethings gonna give, Calzaghe managed to lose 2 stone prior to matches and he was never affected its a shame khan aint the same.

If Khan is comfortable at lightweight then his chin won't improve. If he is struggling at the weight then yes. I don't quite buy into the 'move up in weight the chin gets better' argument when the guys one up from lightweight hit much harder.

Going up in weight can help his punch resistance....from the boxers in his previous weight. But the boxers in his new weight also punch harder so everything evens out. He has better punch resistance but the boxers in the new weight also punches harder. So he still goes down.

He can try injecting some botox in his chin. He won't feel the pain anymore hence his punch resistance might improve. :think

No. Never heard of an exersise to improve your ability to take a punch.
But there is defo ways & tech's that can be used to help avoid getting hit.

    basically, Improve your defense.
I don't think Khan will get K.O.'d RAW like he did Vs. BP anytime soon.
His improvement has shown bigtime since that fight.

But once a suspect, Always a chance you can get caught.
