Either of the Klitschkos could take this era and stomp it under their boot heel for as long as they wanted. FFS, if their leftovers in Pulev, Charr and Povetkin (who are themselves as old as Moses) are regarded as top fighters right now, what does it say about the guys that destroyed those three in their prime?

Could Klitschko have beaten fatboys like ruiz. of course!
They would have the same kind of success in the same manner, winning titles, getting pole-axed by middlemen, brother steps in etc. Gain new title. Exactly as before.

As before they would avoid fighters most dangerous to them using their tag team format.

they arent regarded as top fighters now, nor when they were prime, with the exception of Pov who was a real contender.

They would be #1 and #2, just as they were for a stretch of their career... reality, not fantasy.

This HW era sucks. Just as bad as Wlad/Vitali's time. People got all hyped up and smashed with more reality again.

It tells you all you all you need to know when 3-4 years of this current era is comparable or equal to 10-12 years of the Klitschko era.

Even if either of them managed to pick up a belt they would not hold onto it for long having to face guys like Wilder , Fury , Joshua , Ruiz and then against guys coming through like Usyk , Hrgovic , Gassiev , Doubis , Gorman , Joyce etc.
Wlad wouldn't hold down a 10 year reign over comp like that and Vitali was just a menial title holder during his own weaker era so he wouldn't hold onto a belt for much longer either.

With Fruy around , neither of them are likely to put more than a couple of defenses together as his style is completely wrong for both of them.

The show is paused on Joshua atm. If he blows Ruiz away in the rematch he'll have done something Wlad never done and thats avenge a loss in an immediate rematch.

He was never undisputed and he defended the lineal/ unified title for 6 years , not 10.

False. He selected Joshua because of his lack of experience. His own words not mine.

The WBC gave him a #2 ranking trying to urge him to take the fight but he had no interest.
And Wlad would have fought/cheated Ruiz out of a fair fight with the exact performance he produced against Povetkin. He never handled anybody like Ruiz with ease. In fact he never even fought a lightening fast aggressive skillful pressure fighter like Ruiz

There's no truth to anything you said.

nobody could beat Vitali from 2004. he was just too tough. He would break Ruiz down slowly like he did with Ruiz's protege Chris Arreola... Vitali probably had the best reflexes and timing of any heavyweight of all time.

    Charr:

Back in September 2015, Charr was shot in in the stomach following a late night argument in a kebab snack bar in Essen, west Germany. After fighting back from the horror injuries sustained which saw him training in hospital, he then underwent two hip-replacements that threatened to end his boxing career.

Doctors described how he had the "mobility of an 80-year-old".

But Charr, 33, was lifting the world title last night after comfortably seeing off 6ft 7ins Ustinov 115-111, 116-111, 115-112 on the judges' scorecards."

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/5000922/manuel-charr-wba-heavyweight-title-alexander-ustinov/

Let me guess: getting shot and having 2 hip replacements made OLD Charr BETTER than in 2012?

    Pulev:

Here are the current rankings of Pulev:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_boxing_rankings

    Boxrec: #9
    TBRB: #8
    The Ring: #10
    WBC: #8
    IBF #1
    IBO #4

    You're flat out wrong.

If there's anybody that doubts Wlad would have made Ruiz his footstool in his prime, they clearly have an agenda or DKSAB

Pulev is but Charr isn't. Charr isn't a top even top 100. Saying he's a top contender is like saying Shumenov is a top contender at Cruiser weight.

Pulev stinks man, standing in front of wlad to take a punch. And hes done nothing before or since, clearly a muppet defence again.

Well, if anything, those two losses showed that Wlad at 40 is at the same level as those guys in/near their prime. A prime Wlad is head and shoulders above these guys. A prime Povetkin also would have beaten Joshua and Wilder, not sure about Fury.
