Either you don't know **** about Boxing or you're just being an obstinate *******. Most likely its the latter. Kovalev chose to show his level of skill to the world by outboxing one of the best boxers in the world via 12-0 shutout, he knew based on the KD he could KO BHop at any time, but he chose to showcase his skillset instead. That sent a far more striking message to the Boxing world that by simply destroying a 50 year old in 1 round. As for the KO most referees would have stopped the fight had the 12th happened in the 2nd. Kovalev was beating Hopkins around the ring flying his head like a ragdoll, Hopkins hasn't sounded right since that fight, that round may have permanently damaged him, it also proved Kovalev carries devastating power very very late into a fight. Now I await your immature childish rebuttal.
Devastating power late into the fight - and yet the Ole Man stayed on his feet. Your nuthugging is comical. Kovalev gets brutally KO'ed in a Hollywood-ish type fashion if he ever dared to step into the ring with Wilder - and you TOMATO KAN Krusher gizz guzzlers know it. The General has gone to complete Shi'ite..
Duhaupas stayed on his feet as well, your point is? Not everyone will go down but if that wasn't TKO territory then I don't know what is. When Kovalev wanted to hurt Hopkins...... he did.
Which is exactly why the TOMATO KAN Krusher is happy to stay put @ 175 and call out super middleweights and middleweights...
Schooling a fighter who a lot of idiots thought would school him sent a far more pertinent message to the Boxing world, and don't act like a lot of posters on this site didn't think Hopkins would school him, there's many threads in existence to prove it.
