Cotto-Canelo will still happen even if Canelo loses to Lara,,... There's a lot of money involve in that fight.

I don't think Lara will be able to stop Canelo.
If it goes to 12 rounds, it is likely that judges will favor Canelo as in Trout fight.

I think Nelo is a very good fighter, had he not fought Floyd his hype train would be massive

Lara vs Canelo= Golden Boy vs Al Haymon

Even though it's in corrupt a** Texas you better believe Haymon still has some pull and I think Lara will land the more cleaner punches, especially his stiff jab that will frustrate Canelo all night. Canelo needs to use smart aggression, but he's not a aggressive fighter and trying to out-box Lara from the outside knowing you're flat-footed will only get you schooled.

Depends on if Canelo can get to Lara's body. Lara *really* doesnt like being hit in the ribs. If Canelo can really get to Lara ribcage the first 4-5 rounds without taking fight-losing punishment in the process he can win.

If he tries to headhunt and box from outside its going to be a long night and a controversial scorecard.

I think lara could outbox canelo. We seen against mayweather that canelo can be easily outboxed. Now lara is no mayweather, but he clearly schooled trout. Wheres i think alvarez fight with trout was close. I thought trouts boxing ability definately caused canelo problems but canelo definately landed the much better shots. But lara was well to much for trout in terms of skill. So in my opinion is lara will beat canelo( if no robbery) if canelo trys to box which he usually does. So i think canelo needs to go out and attack lara from the start. Keep constant pressure on lara, throwing some big shots. Think angulo showed lara doesnt like pressure from hard hitters. If canelo does this i think he will stop lara provided he doesnt gas out. Dont think stamina is canelos best asset. Seems to take breaks or maybe hes juat lazy ha. I think this fight will be how canelo approches it. Iso i think if canelo makes it a fight he will stop lara. If he trys to box hes getting another points loss. Obviously not taking into account of robberys or wat not

Boxers who think they "deserve" or earned a fight, and not realizing they need to bring their own fan base bugs me. I hope Canelo embarrasses Lara.

Trout schooled himself against Lara, just like Canelo schooled himself against Mayweather, and Angulo schooled himself against Canelo; not saying a different technique would have worked, but the fights would have been much closer with the right strategies. Sometimes fighters get too ****y and simply use the wrong strategy.

Is it wrong to hope for a screwjob if Lara wins. People who ruin parties aren't very much fun usually.

I'm hoping for Canelo to KO him, even though I think Canelo is overrated.

the fight is in vegas and i think lara could win if canelo tries to outbox like he did with floyd but if he comes out like the angulo fight lara dont see the 9th
