I'm picking Lara. It won't be as exciting for the sport if Lara wins. The public wants to see canelo keep moving forward, but Lara has a very good chance of simply out boxing canelo. You can count on him being much sharper and faster and crisper than soggy ass angulo was in that fight. However, the chance of a close fight going to Lara are slim to none. I can see him getting shafted for sure. I'm still picking Lara tho. That being said, the party won't be ruined. canelo could then move up n fight cotto regardless of a win or a loss. Money is money. When your as big as canelo you can lose n still get it. Look at oscar...****, he lost the majority of his big fights N still raked in the money.

I don't think so. When is the last time that Lara fought up to his potential, two fights in a row? I don't think it has happened. He looked suspect against Martyrosian, and Molina, and Angulo, he spanked Trout, which means he is due for at least two shaky showings in a row now. If Canelo is able to put any type of pressure on him, and touch the body up early on, Canelo should stop him.

Canelo is going to put Lara to sleep. That jaw is going to break.

Hahaha im not acceptin what you just said. Obviously a fighter can choose the wrong strategy but come on man!!!!
So its not just a case they lost to the better man. Basicaly what your sayin is the winnners only won cause the losers lost it themselves. You really dont like to give out credit to fighters for winning do ya.

Your average fan doesn't even watch Canelo fight. They think he has devastating mike Tyson power and can apply pressure like Duran or Chavez sr. It's ****ing hilarious. Canelo doesn't have the skill or experience to beat a guy like Lara. A couple million under the table could change things though.

Hell yes he could. This is a 50/50 fight with many favoring Lara over Alvarez.

Lara sucks man if he can't runaway from you the whole fight he looks like crap. Nobody thinks Alvarez has Tyson power but the way they talk about Lara's overated ass you'd think he's the second coming of Pea mixed with Leonard. Mayweather didn't run from Alvarez he stood in front of him and outboxed him the second Lara stops running he gets dropped in fights.

You mean could he beat Canelo? Of course, and it wouldn't be all that big an upset.

Lara is a terrible style match up for Canelo, If Canelo thinks he can outbox Lara he's in for a long night.
