I think Holmes would stop Wilder. If Wilder did catch him i think he could get thru any rough moments. I'm not convinced Wilder is overly durable yet. Marciano? I don't know. He'd have to stick to him like **** to a blanket.

OK maybe, but Fury is listed at 6' 9". So if you are correct, he is not at all "legitimate".

I agree the size difference would be too much for Marciano.
But you hurt your care doing the tiresome book-cookin' of rounding down sizes in your favor.
Maybe Rocky was not the listed 5' 10 1/2", I have no problem with that.
But he said himself on video his best weight was 187 or 188, & he was ~ 195 as an amateur, & walked around over 200.
No need to use the lightest weight you can get away with, or what he may have been very early in his career as vs. Vingo, to represent a prime vs. Prime match up.

    Be scrupulously honest & accurate.

Holmes would stop him .He'd have scary moment s being tagged but hed blitz back .Holmes by late ko .
Marciano may make it through half way before being stopped on injury s ,cuts ,shut eyes .

Good point .King Kong Ortiz v Marciano might be a better match up for Marciano ..

I think Holmes would absolutely school Wilder, they're poles apart.
Of course there's always the chance that Wilder may land a haymaker, but even then Holmes had great powers of recovery whether decked or hurt.
Regarding Marciano, I just think the size and physical advantages Wilder possesses would win the day, although I regard Rocky as the greater fighter.

Rocky was a great fighter and champion but to me it is an absurd matchup size and style wise. P4P Marciano a far greater champion. H2H, I don't think so.

Louis would have finished Wilder with better combo`s if he had him hurt the way Ortiz did.

Wilder is much better at landing his long straight right than Shavers was.

Fury has a haunched posture which makes him appear shorter.
