Louis had a nasty habit of eating right hands. That might bite him earlier than Luis bit Wilder.

Louis defense was better than Wilder`s who is no Schmeling in terms of offensive savvy.

Hard to really say how good Wilder is at this point in time, he has excellent right hand power but IMO he lost to Fury who was not in the form of the Klitschko fight. Wilder has not really been in with the best punchers of the division so not sure he could handle a Marciano right hand but even though he weighs 200-208lbs he is 6”7 so could be an interesting evening. Wilder has a solid right hand and that was Holmes kryptonite but Holmes could move very well so not sure. For me I need to see Wilder in with class of the division & someone younger than 35. I like Wilder but not sure about his chin, Fury stunned him and although a Big man he is not a puncher

So the ghost of balding Joe Louis goes 8 but Wilder only makes it into the 7th, next time you post try not to hit the pipe before.

Yet, Louis still got clipped with rights long after the first Schmeling fight. I think you are missing the point.

No disrespect to Marciano but his fans never explain what game plan he would employ against Wilder.........the only thing you will hear is "immense" punch volume which is non sense, he only threw slightly above average, super dooper chin despite getting decked by Skinnies and 49-0, typical hero worshiping but zero fight plan.

Wouldn’t need much of a game plan. He’d close the gap rather easily because Wilder doesn’t have the best foot work out there. He’s make him work from start to finish on the inside and considering wilder has shitty stamina would drop him...this isn’t even a tough match up for Marciano. He also wasn’t all that easy to hit as some think on this forum. He was hard to catch flush.
Also It wasn’t the punch rate that frustrated fighters it was the fact that he was constantly on his opponents making them work applying pressure.

Holmes definitely beats Wilder. Likely, by late round stoppage.

Wilder vs Marciano could go either way due to the immense disparity in size. If Wilder lands one of those big right hand, it could be lights out for the much smaller Marciano. But, Deontay doesn't really do much to set that shot up. Wilder has questionable boxing skills, and an extremely low boxing IQ. In reality, Wilder would have to get lucky to land that big right hand of his. If he doesn't land it in the first few rounds, Marciano would chop him down and stop him. Fury was anything but impressive against Wilder, and still won that contest in my opinion. Marciano never came in with anything less than his best. I think the fighter who would be surprised by the effect of the punches would be Wilder. He would be hit harder and more often than he ever has. (And, YES, that includes the old, plodding version of Ortiz he fought on even terms with). if it lasts more than 5 rounds, I would look for Marciano to pick up the pace and stop Wilder mid rounds

You just made my point......you have never seen a gym from the inside, have never been at a price fight and wrapping hands means putting a bandage on.....nothing but blabber , Sonny, you are clueless if you consider the above drivel a fight plan.

No go back to your safe space, put your Yellow Bruce Lee out fit on and practice some Nunchuks in front of your Marciano poster.
