Technically younger.. with the exception of Vitali Klitschko.. a heavyweight has never primed past 40.. yea a Foreman type has lost 20 rounds to Holyfield and Moorer before landing a monster punch etc. But in the heavyweight division or any division it's never been done. Ali tried it. But he got Holmesd.
On a different note.. I wanna say Oliver McCall's achievement is almost as great. Almost 50 and never hit the canvas. If George what's his face came back at 75 or whatever he is and fought someone in the top 100 I'd definitely rank him higher than Oliver McCall.
Would he have had another McCall/Rahman on the way to 50? Or would he have swept through the heavyweights born in the 70s/80s/90s etc.
He lost his motivation to carry on and when that happens, it is a bad idea for any boxer to continue. He pretty much did everything so what was the point of going back in. It was time for the K bros to rein and Lennox's was over.
Yea it's just funny seeing Bernard Hopkins the mirror image of what Lennox Lewis would have looked like.
