If they had a series he would win at least one fight. I rank Lewis very highly H2H because of his physical stature, great jab, power, boxing ability and solid chin.

It is possible. I think Lewis is a difficult match for Ali. Ali never faced anyone that size, that was that good. Lewis also moved as though he was a bit uncoordinated at times, but his timing was very good. If Lewis stood in ring center and forced Ali to come to him, his jab a timing could be really disrupting.

Lewis could force a style match-up problem for Ali similar to Forrest for Mosley, or Tarver for Jones.

I think the Ali that faced Williams could, with difficulty, find a way to win. I cant' see the Ali that defeated Frazier and Foreman winning this without feeling like I'm stretching.

That's because nobody that size was ever as good as Lewis.

I feel that Lennox pawed too much with his jab and that this is something Ali would punish. But for me Lennox is possibly the one I think would give him most problems. A prime Ali takes a UD, if it's the Ali of the early 70's it's a close one, but he might edge it. Post Manilla Ali loses, possibly by KO.

I agreed with you until the end....SOLID CHIN. Anyone who hit him hurt the guy. I say Ali would have outboxed him and eventually ko'ed Lewis in the late rounds.

Stick to the WNBA. Lewis only touched the canvas 2 times in his entire career.

    Anyone who hit him? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4SQmxIP5Bk

    You are a dumbass.

Ali from 67' would box circles around him, tire him out with his speed and accumulation, and would stop him late.

    Ali by K.O. (Championship Rounds)
Lewis would not survive the type of fight's Ali was in.

Both from 1 SOLID punch, not accumulation or because of a tough fight.
    (You can't deny that..)

This is a very difficult fight style wise for Ali. And I think Lewis would give him a handful and possibly even squeek out a win. I think Ali was a great fighter, who became a legend largely because of his out of the ring activities. And once he became a legend he seemed to also become invincible, this dispite may contriversal decisions he won, particularly against Norton. So to me, Ali was beatable, even though I do recall a song saying "Ali was known to have said, you watch me shuffle and I'll jab off your head. He moves like a black Superman, I'm Ali..catch me if you can"

The chances of Ali being able to land that 1 solid punch are pretty remote..unless "the anchor" punch magically appears again.

Well, those controversial decisions was won by post-Manilla Ali. PLEASE keep him apart from the Ali in 66-67. Prime Ali was a different concept from old Ali.
